Stema Șopotu Nou

Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În câmpul superior, roșu, un vrej de iederă însoțit dreapta-stânga de două cununi de spice, totul de aur. Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.

The wreaths of wheat signify the richness of the area.

Ivy is a symbol of permanence and abundance, rebirth and eternal return, which is linked to the hopes of the locals.

The silver horse, free, without a bridle or a saddle, at a gallop, is a symbol of a new beginning and confidence.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune
