Shield: Tenné, five flashes radiating from the base point Argent, on a chief of the last three telephone poles palewise connected by two wires throughout of the first.
Crest: That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Army Reserve: On a wreath of the colors Argent and Tenné, the Lexington Minute Man, John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor) stands on the Common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Motto: WE CARRY THE WORD.
Distinctive Unit Insignia. Description: A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of shield blazoned: Tenné, five flashes radiating from the base point Argent, on a chief of the last three telephone poles palewise connected by two wires throughout of the first. Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Silver scroll inscribed “WE CARRY THE WORD” in Orange letters.
