Escudo de negro, ponte de quatro arcos de prata, lavrada de negro, firmada e movente de um pé ondeado de prata e azul de três tiras e encimada por cruzeiro de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ ALDEIA DA PONTE - SABUGAL “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 23, 2001.
The cross is a local monument near the road to Sabugal. The bridge symbolises the Roman bridge and long history of the village. The river in the base is the Leserão river.
