Stema Aroneanu

Official blazon

Un scut având pe câmp roșu un arac de vie cu trei struguri, de aur. Șeful crenelat, pe hermină, are în mijloc o cruce greacă, de aur.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 27, 2004.

The ermine chief symbolizes the royal mantle and signifies the fact that in this locality is the last foundation erected by a lord from the Mușatinilor clan-St. Nicholas Church of Aron Vodă (1594), a reference monument in the evolution of Moldavian ecclesiastical architecture.

The grape vine with grapes signifies the ancient vineyards of Șorogari.

The crenellated chief refers to the fortified precinct (now extinct) of the monastery here.

The Greek cross commemorates the patron saint of St. Nicholas Monastery.

The silver mural crown, with a crenellated tower, means that the locality has the rank of commune.Literature:
