Escudo de prata, cinco telhas de vermelho postas em pala e alinhadas em faixa; em chefe, um círculo de vermelho contendo Agnus Dei de prata e, em ponta, barco fluvial de verde, realçado de ouro e posto de proa. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ BARQUEIROS - BARCELOS “.

The arms were officially granted on November 4, 1998.
