В зеленом щите московской формы золотая скачущая лошадь. В красной законченной серебром оконечности серебряное тележное колесо.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 6, 1998 and again on April 27, 2004.

The green in the upper half symbolises the (former) gardens parks and urban pastures in the district. The horse symbolises the importance of horse racing for the district, with the Central Moscow Hippodrome and formerly the homes of the Yamskogo coachmen. The horse is also a canting symbol, as the name means 'running or racing'.

The lower part symbolises the Khodynskoye military field, since the end of the eighteenth century a permanent placement summer camps of the Moscow Garrison.

The wheel symbolises the important road to Saint Petersburg, which runs through the district.
