Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp de argint, se află o terasă deluroasă verde și trei căpițe de fân, de aur, dispuse simetric, cea din mijloc fiind mai mare. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află stânci argintii, în interiorul cărora este un ochi de apă albastru. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 24, 2004.
The hilly relief of Bălan's Tâlva and hayfields are symbolised in the arms.
The lake symbolizes the main tourist attraction of the area, Devil's Lake.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
