Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on May 11, 1981.

The base refers to the local geographical situation, low mountains with the Grosse Rodl river. The horseshoe refers to the agricultural character of the municipality, as well as to the Leonhardiritte horse races in the village. The ten nails refer to the 10 villages and settlements in the municipality.

The two crosses refer to the two churses in Eidenberg and Untergang.
