English | Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a yellow embroidered device consisting of a disc 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height overall, a yellow warrior’s bust in profile facing sinister-detailed and outlined in ultramarine blue, arching above and below the inscriptions “WARRIORS” and “FRANKLIN” in ultramarine blue letters with an arched line placed between each word. All edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) ultramarine blue border.
Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A Gold color metal and enamel shield shaped device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height and 3/4 inch (1.91 cm) in width blazoned: Or parted per fess arching upward to sinister Azure, surmounted by a helmed warrior’s head erased facing to sinister of the second, garnished and fimbriated of the first. Attached above the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed “FRANKLIN” in base metal letters. |
Origin/meaning
Gold and blue are the school’s colors. The warrior is school’s mascot. The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop Insignia was both approved on 22 December 2004.
