Official blazon

I fält av silver inom en blå bård en roddbåt för två par åror och däröver två korslagda, uppåtriktade åror, allt av blått.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 3, 1958.

The boat and oars are taken from the seal of the Fryksdal härad, known since 1638. The blue and silver are taken from the arms of Värmland.
