Escudo de ouro, com um castelo de vermelho, aberto de prata, lavrado e gradado de negro. A torre de menagem carregada do escudete das quinas. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro " CIDADE DA GUARDA ".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 23, 1945.
