====Origin/meaning====The arms were granted on February 1, 1977.
The arms show in the upper part a flax flower, symbol for the historical cultivation and production of flax and flax products in the village. The lower half shows a canting house (Hof, plural Höfe means farm). Literature : Köfler and Beimrohr , 1995
