Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 21, 1982.
The two wings refer to the local airport of Linz-Hörsching as a symbol of modern transport. The wheel in the base refers to the former horse-station in Neubau, on the horse-train from Linz to Gmunden and is a symbol of past transport.
