Blue; on an mount green a rock proper wherein is fixed a sword hilted gold enfiled with an antique crown.
Motto: Deo duce ferro comitante

Origin/meaning

Excalibur is the Sword know from the legend of King Arthur. The Motto translates as "God is my leader and his iron (Sword) my companion". THe Badge was approved on 8 August 1946. The Name was used for the New Entry Establishment at Stoke-on-Trent 1942-1947.
