Origin/meaning

The leopards are the symbol for Normandie, the region in which the village is situated. The wolf's head is the symbol for St. Vaast, the local patron saint. The green colour indicates the agricultural character of the municipality. The lower half shows the arms of the De Grouchy family, former lords of the village.
