On a dark and light blue demi-terrestial golbe a lion rampant guardant holding in the forepaws a bomb azure.
Motto: Tentate et perficite.

Origin/meaning

The badge symbolises the night bombing role of the Squadron. The Motto translates as "Attempt and achieve". The badge ws granted in March 1938.
