History: Formed at Fowlmere in November 1941.

English In front of three arrows one in pale and two saltire the points upwards gules, flighted and tipped or, the "derestriction" road sign.

Motto: His modus ad victoriam.

Origin/meaning

The Fighting qualities of the Unit are symbolises by the Arrows, whilst the Donors of the Squadron's Aircraft the Motor Industy Fighters Found is symbolised by the Road Sign. The Motto translates as "By this means to victory". The Badge was approved in May 1942.
