Motto: Let tyrants tremble.

Origin/meaning

The Fountain indicates Operations over the Sea. The Upward pointing Sword symbolises Minelaying as the Mine comes up from beneath the Waves. The Downward pointing Sword symbolises Bombing. The Badge was approved in July 1944.
