Escudo de azul, memorial de ouro, lavrado de negro, de três arcos tribolados assentes em pedestal, encimados por arquitrave sobre a qual assenta um arco em ogiva, aberto, encimado por cobertura de duas águas rematada por cruz floretada. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: “ CIDADE DE ODIVELAS “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 28, 1995.
The arms show the memorial of Odivelas, supposedly built by King Dinis.
