Escudo de azul, com um mundo crucífero de ouro, realçado de negro; em chefe, dois pares de cachos de uvas de ouro, folhados e gavinhados de prata; campanha ondada de seis burelas de prata e azul. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ PADERNE - MELGAÇO “.
