RAF STATION WILDENRATH, ROYAL AIR FORCE

History: Located in Germany it was formed on 15 January 1952. It was closed 1 April 1992.

Official blazon

In front of an annulet vert surmounted by four fir cones ver points outwards a harrier in hovering flight.
Motto: Immer bereit = always ready.

Origin/meaning

The annulet symbolises the Base while the Pine cones symbolises the location in an wooden area. The Cones are in the four cardinal points symboliseing wachtfulness in all directions. The Harrier alludes to the Hawker Harrier Aircraft operated by the Station.
