Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 28, 1965.

The three mountains refer to the three largest mountains (Hoher Frassen, Rote Wand and Kellerspitze) as well as to the three villages (Litze-Plazera, Marul and Raggal) in the municipality.
