Sinisessä kentässä hopeinen raudanmerkki, jonka yläpuolella hopeinen, kuusikoroinen lakio.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 26, 1961.

The symbol in the lower half is the symbol of iron; the mane of the municipality menas iron-lake. The division line of pine trees symbolise the importanc eof forestry for the municipality. The blue represents the -lake part of the name.
