Escudo de prata, ilha de negro em forma de monte, carregada com uma arruela de vermelho, perfilada de ouro com Agnus Dei empunhando o lábaro; em chefe, açor de sua cor, de asas estendidas, segurando nas garras um escudete de azul carregado de cinco besantes de prata; contra-chefe de três faixetas ondeadas de verde e prata sendo esta carregada de baleia nadante de negro, jorrando água de prata. Coroa mural de prata três de torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro: “ SÃO JOÃO - PICO “.
