Escudo de azul, dois perfis de carril de prata, guarnecidos de ouro e “Agnus Dei” de prata nimbado de ouro, sustendo uma vara crucífera de ouro, com lábaro de prata, carregado de cruz firmada de vermelho. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “SÃO JOÃO BAPTISTA – ENTRONCAMENTO”.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 8, 2007.

The arms show in the chief the railway rails, taken from the arms of the municipality. The Agnus Dei is the symbol of St. John Baptist, the local patron saint.
