SANKT ROMAN

State : Oberösterreich
District : Schärding

Arms of Sankt Roman

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 18, 1993.

The palm branch in the chief is the symbol of St. Romanus, the local patron saint. The points with the roses are taken from the arms of the medieval Rehling family, who had their estate Prankenberg in the municipality.
