Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “SANTO ESTÊVÃO – BENAVENTE”.

The palm leaf is the symbol of the St. Stephen, the local patron saint. The cross is the cross of the Orer of Avis, as the parish was a possession of the order.

The black storks and the scallops are a symbol for the local fauna and the Natural Reserve of the Tagus Estuary.
