Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on Mai 16, 1977.

The arms show Hans II Strobl, who was a member of the Diocesal Chapter of Salzburg, who also wa Eisenniederleger (I have no translation) and local judge. He holds in his hand a staff for his function as judge and a pile of iron staves for his other function.
