Wapen: In silwer, 'n blou dwarsbalk belaai met 'n hoekige versmalde dwarsbalk van silwer, in die skildhoof vergesel van 'n regterhand by die gewrig afgesny, wat 'n veerpen vashou, albei van rooi.
Helmteken: 'n Fakkel van silwer, gevlam en versier van rooi, tussen 'n oop vlug van silwer.
Wrong en Dekklede: Silwer en blou.
Wapenspreuk: UT PROSIM

Arms: Argent, a fess Azure charged with a bar dancetty Argent, in chief a dexter hand couped at the wrist holding a quill Gules.
Crest: Between a pair of wings a torch Argent, enflamed and garnished Gules.
Wreath and mantling: Argent and Azure.
Motto: UT PROSIM

The arms were officially granted on June 16, 1972 to the then Witwatersrand College for Advanced Technical Education.
