Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro : “ TOUGUINHA “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 20, 2002.

The crown is the symbol for St. Mary, the local patron saint. The plough refers to agriculture and the wavy base to the Rio Ave and Rio Este rivers in or near the parish.
