District : Innsbruck-Land

Unterperfuss.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 21, 1995.

The arms show the Inn river, which has played a major role in the development and history of the village. The water mill wheel symbolises the former mills as well the local patron saint, St. Catherine, whose symbol is a (broken) wheel.
