En campo de plata una llave, de sable, acostada por sendos castillos donjonados de tres torres, al natural, abiertas, puestas sobre rocas, al natural, movientes desde la punta del escudo; bordura cosida de plata con la leyenda, en letras de sable "QUIEN AQUÍ VE ESTA CIUDAD EN ESTE LLANO FORMADA, FUE PONERLE FRENO AL TURCO Y UNA LLAVE A TODA ESPAÑA". Soporte un águila imperial que es bicéfala y de sable, armada, linguada y coronada a la antigua de oro. Al timbre corona imperial.
