Im roten Schild ein silberner schräglinker Wellenbalken, rechts oben begleitet von einer silbernen, sich gegenläufig eindrehenden Papierrolle, links unten von einem silbernen Grandel mit acht silbernen Örteln.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on 13 April, 1977.

The arms are canting, the bend wavy represents the "white stream". The scroll of paper symbolises the cellulose mill of today, the wheel the iron-based industry of the past.
