WETTMANNSTÄTTEN

State : Steiermark
District : Deutschlandsberg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on December 11, 1972.

Wettmannstätten has the only church in Styria dedicated to St. Valentin; this was illustrated by the (modern) attributes of St. Valentin, the heart and the flowers, being put into the arms. Maize illustrates the importance of agriculture.
