Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 23, 1985

The shield shows the silhouettes of three brick gable ends on a green field bathed in sunlight. The swan of the crest is from the county of [[Buckinghamshire\\ where Lovell has been based since its formation in 1786, while the mason's trowel indicates the construction industry.

The beavers reflect building ability as well as dedication to hard work and they hold a saw and a blueprint, referring to the craft and design elements of construction. They stand on a base of pavement and grass, symbolising the urban and rural environments in which the Lovell Group works.
