Incorporated into: 1971-1992 Siegersdorf

Zagersdorf.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ??-?-1996.

The lion in the arms is taken from the Csák family, and may be seen as a canting symbol (Zag). The grape vines are a symbol for the importance of viticulture in the area.

The base shows three grape seeds, and symbolise the fact that already 3000 year ago grapes were cultivated, as in archaeological finds grape seeds were found.
