The Coat of Arms was originally approved for the 2nd Division Quartermaster Train on 16 April 1929. It was redesignated for the 2nd Quartermaster Regiment on 1 April 1936 and for the 2nd Quartermaster Battalion on 26 February 1940. It was rescinded on 4 August 1958. It was reinstated and redesignated for the 2nd Supply and Transport Battalion on 22 April 1963. Redesignated for the 2nd Support Battalion on 16 October 1989. | |||
