Welcome to the largest free heraldic bibliography. The bibliography is a never ending project (started March 2025), which aims to help heraldists in finding heraldic publications, old and modern, common or obscure. The bibliography will be maintained by a team of volunteers from all over the world who will continuously add new references to the database. For a list of partners, see the menu on the left. The bibliography is hosted by the free platform Zotero (do not bookmark the Zotero link as it is a dynamic link, bookmark this page instead !) Help for new users: step 1: Click on the link above and you will see a screen similar to this ![]() On the left you will see the many subcategories, with entries specific for that section. Click on the arrows to get the sub-menus On the main screen you will see all the references and entries. All references are listed on the starting page, or, when clicking on a selection, only the selection will be shown. All columns are sortable by clicking on the legend bar When clicking on a title, the bibliographic details will be shown on a right panel: ![]() It is possible to change the selection of columns shown by clicking on the small book icon: The abbreviations under "Library Catalog" indicate the partners who have the publication (see the partner list on the left) and may provide you with a copy or scan, or you may visit their library. Contact them for details. In case a reference is known, but no partner currently holds the item, the word Wanted will appear. |
