Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 29, 1984.

The two black bars are taken from the arms of the Counts of Isenburg, who historically ruled over part of the area.

The linden branch symbolises the 6 municipalities that merged in the 1970s. The base symbolises the Bracht river, after which the municipality is named.
