El jefe acoge, en campo de gules, una res; en la central, en campo de azur, estrechan sus manos los alcaldes de Villafranca de la Marisma y Los Palacios, en torno al árbol olivo y vid de sinople; y en la baja o campaña, sobre campo de oro, la leyenda «LA UNIÓN». Bordura de plata con la inscripción en sable «LOS PALACIOS Y VILLAFRANCA». Al timbre, corona real abierta.
