Escudo de vermelho, com coroa de ouro com três flores -de-lis aparentes, intercaladas por duas pontas rematadas por pérolas e sabre de cavalaria napoleónico, encabado de prata, embainhado de azul com virola, biqueira e guarnições de prata, tudo alinhado em pala, entre duas oliveiras arrancadas, de prata, frutadas de verde; em chefe, cruz da Ordem de Malta. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: «Maçal do Chão».
