These arms show the Bräunlingen lion within a bordure of Fürstenberg. The municipality adopted the design, but already during the next years regretted the arms. The village was never part of the State of Fürstenberg and the bordure thus was not appropriate. Based on these objections the State Archives proposed the arms granted in 1907. | |||
