The Wavy Blue Bar is indicative of the Rhineland Campaign during World War II, which the predecessor 541st Quartermaster Battalion Participated. The Camel symbolises service in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The Palm refer to the Merittoriou Unit Commandation awarded for service in Southwest Asia.


 
The Coat of Arms was approved for the 541st Maintenance Battalion on 22 January 1996, it was redeisgnated and amended to add a Crest for the 541st support Battalion on 16 March 2006. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally approved for the 541st Supply and Service Battalion on 13 March 1967. It was redesignated for the 541st Maintenance Battalion on 30 August 1973 and for the 541st Support Battalion on 9 February 2006.
