The Embattlements suggest Tracks and allude to the 81st Armoured Brigade Combat Team. The Counterchanged Colours allude to Unity and pulling together. The Three Stars indicates the Three World War II Operations in Guadalcanal, Northern Solomons and Luzon. The Sealion with Sword is from the Philippine Preseidental Flag and symbolise the Award of the Philippine Presidental Unit Citation for World War II operations. This is further indicated by the Colours of the Stars which are int he colours of this Citation's Ribbon. THe Wavy Bar signify the tropical Seas of Southeast Asia area of Operations during World war II. The Palm Frond and Scimitar respresent participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom. | |||
