OBERFÜLLBACH
State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Coburg
Incorporated into : 1978 Ebersdorf bei Coburg
German | In Blau ein aufspringendes, golden bewehrtes silbernes Füllen auf goldenem Boden.
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on October 31, 1955. The arms show a canting foal (Füllen). The foal first appeared on the seal of the village from 1857. Later seals also showed a foal, but colours were not known until 1955. The colours were based on the old arms of the Lords of Vullepach, which showed two silver crescents in blue. The Lords originated from and lived in the village in late medieval times.
