History: Formed March 5, 1945 as an Air Ministry Experimental Station, the Unit was retitled at Kai Tak, Hong Kong on November 1, 1951.
Official blazon
Badge: A mountain vert encircled by cloud argent ensigned by four rays of lightning Or.
Motto: Kan shou = Vigilant
