Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 3, 1994.
The golden bordure with the miner's tools refers to the (former) mining in the area. The bound wheat-ears symbolise the importance of agriculture for the parish. The column refers to the longtime independent municipality or parish of Ervedosa.
