Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 24, 1995.
The three trees in the upper half are derived from the old seal of the village. The two silver wings in the base are derived from the arms of the Lords of Erffa, who had their estate in the municipality. The escutcheon simply shows the initial of the municipality.
