Shoulder Sleeve Insignia:  The colors are identified with the school.  The Native American warrior is the school mascot and reflects the honorable qualities of a people worthy of emulation by the cadets.
Shoulder Loop Insignia:  Green and gold are the school colors.  The symbols reflect the educational process of knowledge (books) through communication (faces with arrows) developing sportsmanship (sports equipment) in proper balance (scales).  This process prepares the cadets for the challenges in school, community and country.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia was approved on 13 June 1996. The Shoulder Loop Insignia was approved on 23 May 1996.
