Origin/meaning

The coat of arms combines the arms of different families: the wolf of the De Loup (wolf) family, owners of the castle of Beauvais, the besants of the Villelume family, the bar and the scallops of the Desaix family, who built the castle of La Mothe, and the lion and the stars of the Roche Aymon family, last lords of the village.
